The PostBus, a bus network servicing Alpine areas, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006 and is firmly anchored in Switzerland’s cultural identity. As the successor to the age of horse-drawn postal carriages and the Swiss Alpine post, the PostBus is also part of Swiss history. From the very beginning, it has provided bus service across Alpine passes and to remote Alpine valleys and villages.
